Rihanna Went As A Sexy Pope To The Met Gala And No One Is Coping
I, for one, welcome our new Pope.
If you’ve been anywhere near the internet this morning, you might have noticed that the annual fundraising and fashion extravaganza known as the Met Gala is currently underway in New York.
This year’s theme is ‘Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination’, which has seen guests rock up in everything from Illuminati suits, to brass hearts, to gigantic angel wings, to the Sistine Chapel ceiling, to a full-blown chain mail Joan of Arc number.
It’s been one of the bolder years on the red carpet, but (as usual) Rihanna still managed to one-up just about everyone. For her interpretation of ‘Heavenly Bodies’, Rihanna just decided to go right to the source and dress as the actual Pope:

It’s hardly the first time she’s won the Met Gala (remember the Omelette Dress?) but the Sexy Pope outfit may just top all of her previous looks.
