Someone On Reddit Has Officially Found The World’s Worst Wedding Invite, And It’s A Doozy
Who needs to flag their allergies when a couple can be quirky and call you a "fat f*ck" on their wedding invite instead?
Couples desperately trying to be quirky when planning their wedding has to be one of the worst things imaginable.
While some people laugh at couples who take weddings way too seriously, the opposite “laid back” side of the spectrum can be even worse — as one invite shared to r/weddingshaming on Reddit proved.
Uploading the “tacky” invite to Reddit, user ScaredNapkin shared that his 30-something “cousin sent this along with her wedding invitations” before noting that he would “not be in attendance” after reading it.
Reeking of a huge “we’re not like other couples who get married” energy, the cringe-filled invite listed all the “shit you need to know” for guests attending the impending nuptials.
After describing the children of those invited as “little shits”, the invite called guests “fat fucks” for even thinking about sharing their dietary requirements prior to the wedding, and then “dumbasses” and “lazy fucks” for wanting to know about the parking and hotel situation for the event. Honestly, how dare someone not want to go into anaphylactic shock or get lost on the way to your wedding!
As the invite continued, it really started to feel like the couple had just learned how to swear.
Like when it came to dress code, instead of just sharing any useful information, guests were told to “wear whatever the fuck you want — go butt fuck naked for all we care” and for any additional questions, those invited were instructed to just “check the fucking website”.
But when it came to gifts, all the swearing and insults magically stopped. As expected, the tone of the invite abruptly pivoted away from aggressive once gifts and money were involved.
“If you wanted to give us a wedding gift, a contribution to our honeymoon would be perfect,” the section conveniently read with not a swear insight.
Now it’s just painfully obvious that the couple thought their invite would go viral and that they’d become “chill wedding” goals. I can picture the bride posting her own invite to Pinterest right now under the “non-traditional wedding” tag as inspiration for other edgy couples.
But the real gag is this cringe-worthy wedding invitation isn’t even original. Two years ago a couple went viral for their wedding invites that were addressed to the “fuck faces” of their lives. Almost copied word for word, the original swear-filled invite at least provided some necessary information between the expletives like a smart casual dress code and a note for guests to park at their hotels.
Unfortunately, ScaredNapkin’s cousin didn’t really pick up on that part of the invite template, and instead just chose to insult her guests without adding any useful information in what’s set to be the most awkward wedding ever.

Luckily for ScaredNapkin, he won’t be in attendance to witness the quirky wedding first-hand. Not only because of the questionable invite, but because of the odd mid-week wedding date, too.
“Since I’m getting hate for some reason on this, I am really not going because it’s in the middle of the week,” the original poster of the cringe invite shared with those following along. “I wanted to go because I assumed there would be an open bar lmao.”
