Reddit Users Have Been Mashing Up The ‘Thomas The Tank Engine Theme’ With Classic Gangsta Rap Tracks

For as long as I can remember, the theme to ‘Thomas The Tank Engine’ has been my personal on-hold music. As my brain ticks between one thought to the next, or if I’m stressed out, or hurrying, or confused, tired, lost, or if I have just found myself standing in the middle of the living room trying to remember why I got up off the couch: it’s a loop of Thomas that soundtracks all of those moments.

I wish it was something cooler than that. I really do. Like if it was an old Sonic Youth track. Or a Springsteen riff. Even a Mumford chorus would be better than this.

So imagine my delight when I came across the ‘Putting The Hood In Childhood‘ thread on Reddit this morning: bored Reddit users seamlessly applying the theme song to classic gangsta rap tracks, because this is exactly the kind of thing bored Reddit users do best.
