Taylor Swift’s ‘Ready For It’ Video Is Here And Looks A Lot Like ‘Blade Runner’
The era of Dark Taylor is well and truly upon us.
Bad news for people who were hoping to try and forget about that not-very-good second single ‘Ready For It’: Taylor Swift has just given it a music video!
After teasing the video this week on her Instagram, Swift has today shared the very Blade Runner-esque clip for ‘Ready For It’. Yup, the era of Dark Taylor is well and truly upon us.
‘Ready For It’ hasn’t been a chart hit for Swift — at least not yet. It’s currently sitting at #52 on the US Billboard charts, wedged between someone called Dustin Lynch and a track Travis Scott dropped back in May. Here in Australia, the song peaked at #3 when it was released at the start of September and no longer features in the ARIA Top 50 Singles chart.
After getting a mixed response to ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ and ‘Ready For It’, Swift released her next Reputation single ‘Gorgeous’ last week and, weird baby voice intro aside, it’s actually pretty good.
Taylor Swift’s new album, Reputation, is due out on November 10.
