Quentin Tarantino is known for making cult hit blockbusters, unsavoury allegations, and a rumoured foot fetish that DJ Sher Arar decided to put to the test in a viral Tiktok.

In their TikTok, Arar meets Tarintino outside The Jimmy Kimmel Show where he made an appearance earlier this week promoting the novelisation of Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. Arar asks Tarantino if he would sign her foot. The director laughs a little and replies, “Yeah, sure, okay, cool,” and kneels to sign Arar’s foot.

As he signs their foot, Arar asks, “What do you think of it by the way, can you rate it?”

“Oh, no, I wouldn’t rate it, I wouldn’t rate it, but it would be at the top,” Tarantino responds.

The viral TikTok now has over 4 million views on Arar’s account. In a kind of stunningly strange way, the video records a meeting of two alike artists. Tarantino is known, for better and worse, for heavily featuring feet in his films.

Meanwhile, Arar, is an artist who is also all about feet.  Arar is a DJ, actor and artist who also features feet heavily in their work sells their art as NFTs. According to them, their works are a”tribute to ‘normalise’ liking feet,” as Arar told Insider.

Arar has turned the director’s signature on their foot into its own piece of art, superimposing their Tarantino-signed foot onto a poster that cheekily reads “written and directed by Quentin Tarintino”. The artwork is currently up for auction on eBay, sitting at $829 USD at the time of writing this article.

Tarantino’s alleged foot fetish first came to light around the time of Once Upon A Time In Hollywood’s release. Many viewers observed that the film boasted many shots of bare feet, more so even than the rest of his films combined.

At the end of the day, what is the internet in 2021 but a place where the world plays audience to two foot-loving artists having a feet-meet?
