Hooray, Everyone’s Buying The Jones Sisters BBQ Sauce From That Beautiful ‘Queer Eye’ Episode
They've netted $75k in profits since the episode aired.
If there’s one thing that Netflix’s Queer Eye reboot is very good at, it’s producing those brief snatches of warm glow that help you remember the world can be a good and beautiful place.
The third season of the show, which dropped in full last week, doubles down on this simple goodness. Away from the wide world and its problems, Queer Eye is a little pocket of moral fortitude, where no problem is so big that it can’t be solved by a makeover, a quick renovation and some avocado-based dishes.
I interviewed @tanfrance for his Netflix IX interview and when I asked him who his 6th member of Queer Eye would be HE SAID ME ??????? https://t.co/laAMgOFjGw pic.twitter.com/4Rqo5FUxOK

But sometimes, the effects of Queer Eye escape the confines of our television screens and spill out into the real world, where they do some practical, measurable good. Case in point: the Jones sisters, two of the breakout stars of the show’s second season, have become honest to god celebrities.
In their episode, the pair, who operate a BBQ sauce business out of Kansas City, have their business problems sorted by Antoni and Karamo, and the whole thing ends with everybody hugging and laughing and generally acting like the oldest of pals.
Better yet, ever since the episode has aired, the BBQ sauce run by the sisters has experienced an astonishing boom. Apparently, demand for their hot sauces was so high over the weekend that an order was being placed every single minute, and the pair are warning those seeking to get some sauce pronto that the volume of orders means that they’re running a little bit behind schedule. They’ve already netted $75K in profits since the show’s airing, and that number is only going to rise.
I watched the screener for the Jones Bar-B-Q episode of #QueerEye a month ago and I've been thinking about their BBQ sauce ever since. NOW IT CAN FINALLY BE OURS AND I'M IN A GLASS CASE OF EMOTION: https://t.co/Luexhulj9c

It’s exactly the kind of shot in the arm that the sisters’ independently run, small business deserves — not to mention all the online rose petals that have been strewn at their feet.
See? Turns out that things in the world aren’t so bad after all!
