Psy’s Beyonce Cover Is Way Better Than His New Film Clip
The film clip Psy unveiled at a Seoul concert over the weekend has already been watched 40 million times. But another video taken from the gig deserves more.
Over the weekend, Psy gave a concert in Seoul to over 50,000 fans. Two things happened.
The first was the unveiling of a new dance move for his latest single, ‘Gentleman’, a live debut which coincided with the film clip’s release.
The video has already been watched close to 40 million times, and features the Korean pop star hanging around an up-market shopping mall, a hotel, a playground, a library, a gym and a cafe, pulling pranks on women, wearing drop-crotch pants, and showcasing some serious and pensive gyration. It’s okay?
The second thing is much better.
It is two minutes and 40 seconds of Psy wearing no pants and dancing to Beyonce’s ‘Single Ladies’.
The dance is very difficult, and Psy’s performance of it is both fabulous and worthy of the crowd’s ecstatic adoration.
But his face.
Will you just look at his face.
