This Story About A Woman, A First Date And A Big Poo Is Just Incredible
This is the greatest story in the history of time.
A young woman in England got stuck in a toilet window after throwing her poo out the window on a date.
I realise there’s kind of a lot to unpack in that sentence, but bear with me.
According to the BBC, the anonymous turd chucker was on a Tinder date with Bristol student Liam Smith, who had invited her back to his apartment after a romantic trip to Nandos (nice). But when she went to the bathroom, she soon discovered she had produced a poo that simply would not flush. We’ve all been there.
Rather than let the offending log just float there, she instead decided to, ah, take matters into her own hands – only for the faeces to become wedged between two non-opening windows when she attempted to throw it into the garden below.
At this point she attempted to climb through the window to retrieve it, and long story short, the fire department had to come and get her out.

The incredible saga came to light after Smith set up a GoFundMe page to cover the £300 cost of repairing the window, which was damaged during the rescue operation. Unsurprisingly, he has already exceeded his target, and has pledged to donate the excess money to two charities: one that builds and maintains flushing toilets in the developing world, and the other that provides financial and medical assistance to fire fighters.
It’s a pretty astounding story. There’s also probably a lesson to be learnt here, about NOT THROWING YOUR POOP OUT THE WINDOW.
Oh, and believe it or not, they went on a second date.
