Please Enjoy Don Cheadle Aggressively Rapping In Kendrick Lamar’s New ‘DNA’ Video
Well, this is something.
The unanimous opinion on the internet right now — which is rare, given the internet is hardly ever unanimous about anything — is that Kendrick Lamar is the most exciting (and perhaps, the greatest) rapper alive. If this wasn’t an undisputed fact before the release of DAMN last Friday, it sure as hell is now.
The Compton rapper is also riding a seemingly unstoppable high following a blistering performance at Coachella over the weekend. Now, as if to say “Oh hey just so you know, I’m not slowing down anytime soon”, Lamar has released a video for his track ‘DNA’, which is pretty cool given the video for ‘Humble’ only came out a few weeks ago.
The vid stars Don Cheadle (from Iron Man and Avengers) as a combative interrogator going after a cuffed and chained Kendrick, but when he flicks on the polygraph he gets zapped — and starts spitting rhymes.
