Jonah Hill And Michael Cera Made You The Best ‘Her’ Parody Yet

With its oddball premise, earnest tone, and stylistic idiosyncrasies, Spike Jonze’s much-loved new film Her was always going to be ripe for parody. I just typed ‘Her parody” into YouTube, and got 2,130,000 results, which is as scientific as I’m gonna get right now to prove this point. The internet’s favourite one to date has been this video called Him, which tells the tale of a woman who falls in love with the voice of a fake Seth Rogen. Unfortunately, its reign shall be short-lived, because Jonah Hill and Michael Cera just got involved.
Over the weekend, Hill hosted Saturday Night Live, where — besides making cute Titanic jokes with Wolf Of Wall Street co-star Leo DiCaprio — he donned his highest high pants for this pitch-perfect parody titled Me. Remember that awkward scene in the movie where Samantha hires a sex-surrogate for Theodore Twombley? This version has an excellent surprise:
