“This generation is just running wild at the moment,” says King’s Cross nightclub tsar and alleged organised crime figure John Ibrahim, at the start of his ‘Don’t Be A Dickhead’ campaign. “They need a little bit of guidance. They need to actually start policing themselves and take more responsible for their actions … The police can’t be everywhere.”

Joining him in this visionary campaign to stop drunken violence? Australian sweetheart and all-round nice guy Kyle Sandilands, and shining beacon of exemplary behaviour, Bra Boy gang member Koby Abberton.

The video is part of Ibrahim’s new campaign which — quite apart from having a name stolen from either road safety PSA, or an Andrew Levins tweet — seems to also include a turn-around from Ibrahim on the city’s new state-imposed lock-out. “The Government lockout is a good start,” he says  — despite calling the policy “ridiculous” less than a month ago.

“I want safer streets too,” he told Fairfax back in January, “but this isn’t going to lead to safer streets… I think a 1.30am lockout is ridiculous. It’s going to mean even more people are roaming around the streets with nothing else to do.”

This weekend marks the first weekend that will see Sydney under curfew.

If you’re out and about, watch out for Kyle. :|
