Pass It On: Benedict Cumberbatch Does A Dozen Impressions In A Minute, Wins Your Heart
He's quite the Cumber-catch (eh? Eh?!)
Move over Kevin Spacey – there’s a new king of celebrity impressions.
During an interview promoting his new flick The Imitation Game, Benedict Cumberbatch reminded us why we love him when a reporter creatively suggested that they play an imitation game. In one minute, Cumberbatch delivered impressions of John Malkovich, Alan Rickman, Tom Hiddleston, Owen Wilson, Michael Caine, Bane, Matthew McConaughey, and Taylor Swift. While his Walken left a lot to be desired, his Nicholson was surprisingly on point.
This isn’t the first time his impressions have, well, made an impression. Cumberbatch does a surprisingly fierce Beyonce walk, and he destroyed Jimmy Fallon in an ‘Alan Rickman-off’, competing on The Tonight Show to read classic rap lyrics while doing the best Snape impression.
So it almost makes up for him for not being able to pronounce the word ‘penguins’ . Nobody’s perfect. He’s pretty close though.
