Watch Lady Gaga And Bradley Cooper’s Intense Duet Of ‘Shallow’ At The 2019 Oscars
They basically just eye-fucked the whole time.
As The Oscars night sprints towards its conclusion, it’s looking like A Star Is Born — once a sure-thing for a sweep — might only leave with one or two awards. But it was always a sure thing they’d take out Best Original Song, as Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper just gave a show-stopping performance of ‘Shallow’.
Rather than the rock-heavy and Gaga-only rendition seen at the Grammys, Gaga and Cooper performed a stripped-back duet on The Oscars stage.
The two walked hand in hand on-stage from the auditorium’s front row and sang to each other from across sides of a grand piano, with Gaga playing keys.
The two basically just eye-fucked while they performed: it was ridiculously dramatic and intense, completely in-keeping with the sensual, ’99 people’ auteur-actress relationship the two have had 0n the film’s never-ending press circuit.
Sure, Cooper’s voice might have struggled a little bit, but they got there in the end at the duet, and Gaga absolutely belted out that bridge. Twitter, of course, exploded.

LADY GAGA’S ACCEPTANCE SPEECH SHOULD BE HER SINGING “SHALLOW” AGAIN

Why am I trying to give a standing ovation in my apartment on my fractured foot after #LadyGaga and #BradleyCooper's performance of #Shallow at the #Oscars ? Cause it was bonkers, beyond and insanely amazingly good. Though I applauded seated, the standing O was there in spirit.

Ten minutes later, Gaga took to the stage to accept the Oscar Award for Best Original Song alongside the song’s producers and other writers, Mark Ronson, Anthony Rossomando and Andrew Wyatt. A Star Is Born was nominated for seven awards, and could still win three more, including Best Actress, Best Actor and Best Picture.
