Rejoice, Prison Lovers, ‘Orange Is The New Black’ Is Back With A New Season Next Month
Come for the trailer, stay for the delightful dance at the end.
Everyone’s favourite prison themed dramedy Orange is the New Black has announced the release date of its much anticipated sixth season, along with an ominous teaser trailer.
Season 5 was a pretty hectic time for the incarcerated residents of Litchfield, as they mostly spent their time rioting. It was a lot! If the moral of the season was that “rioting has unexpected consequences” then consider us all sufficiently taught, because season 6 looks like it will deal with all of the fallout.
The last thing we saw of our favourite characters was some sad buses taking them off into the night. Who knows where they will end up? Spoiler: another prison most likely. They’re criminals!

But one thing’s for sure, they are definitely leaving Litchfield Penitentiary, at least for a little while. The teaser does say ‘To the max’ which probably infers they are being sent to the maximum security facility, which will be no party.
Bye bye, Litch. pic.twitter.com/Y9tWQtIO37
