OPPO’s First Smartwatch Series Is Here And It’s A Thing Of Beauty
Time for an upgrade?
Making premium possible across a range of devices.
OPPO is known best for its smartphones: they’re sleek, stylish, tech-savvy, and totally affordable. But now, they’re branching out! This legendary brand has just dropped its first series of smartwatches and wireless earphones.
The new devices have all the best qualities of the phones, plus they’re even more beautiful. This is tech that’s truly made to be worn.
The OPPO Watch comes in two sizes, 46mm ($549) or 41mm ($449), but the larger one is really the deluxe model. This has a 3D flexible hyperboloid display, which is the kind of screen usually reserved for smartphones: it stretches and curves all the way down the edges of the watch. This gives you more space to go about your business and tbh simply looks heaps cooler.
The watches also have the same fast-charging tech as OPPO smartphones: they have super impressive battery life and a really short charging time (75 minutes for a full charge). Chuck it on “Smart Mode” and you can get 36 hours of use out of just one charge. Switch to “Power Saver Mode” and you can keep basic function going for 21 days! Yep. That’s three full weeks.
Of course, they also come with all the functions you’re after in a smartwatch. That includes heart-rate and sleep monitoring, as well as all your fave Google apps and services.
If you’re looking for the full upgrade, check out OPPO’s new wireless earphones too.
They come in three models — Enco W51 ($249), Enco W31 ($199) and Enco W11 ($149) — but it’s the Enco W51 that’s the most impressive. These nifty little things are noise-cancelling and they can be charged wirelessly. They can even get a reverse charge from some mobile phones!
This might be a good time to dump those bulky old headphones that look like earmuffs and the one-trick-pony analogue watch on your wrist.
