We Don’t Mean To Alarm You, But Oporto’s Secret Menu Just Copped A Bondi Burger® Wrap

Sometimes good things burst into our lives unexpectedly. Like when a puppy runs up to you at the park, or when Oporto unveils something new on its secret menu. I’m happy to report: at least one of those things has just happened.

Oporto’s legendary Bondi Burger® is now also available as a wrap on the restaurant’s secret menu which was only announced to its Flame Rewards loyalty customers. I didn’t even know Oporto had a secret menu, but I will 100% be eating my way through it from this moment on.

 

The secret wrap is a brand new twist on a major classic. To try it, all you have to do is order the “Bondi Rappa” at your local restaurant and the friendly chefs will whip you up some fresh-grilled chicken breast fillets with crisp lettuce, cheese, creamy mayo and the legendary Original Chilli Sauce all wrapped up in Oporto’s deluxe, pita-style wrap.

That sauce – made with fresh ingredients like lemon, ginger, chilli, garlic and oil – deserves its own shout out. This stuff is, conservatively, the best thing I’ve ever tasted in my entire damn life, and I’d put it on every meal if I could. I might not be able to drown my home cooking in it (yet – Oporto, call me) but having it on a brand new secret menu item is a close second.

Look, I’ll always love burgers. But sometimes you want something a bit lighter or easier to eat on the go. That’s what makes the Bondi Rappa a genius culinary move on par with the invention of sliced bread. I said what I said.
