The most iconic phone of the 2000s had to be the pink Motorola Razr.

The rush of power felt after slamming the phone shut following a bad phone call is a feeling I’ve been chasing for a decade.

Lucky for the sassy, the Motorola Razr is getting the same treatment as blue eyeshadow and platform shoes, and is coming back in 2020!

With a new look on the old classic, the 2020 Razr sill sports a stainless steel exterior. But in what should be a crime, the modern flip phone doesn’t come in hot pink or silver, only black.

Despite boasting the same name as the original, the clam shell Razr is basically just a foldable smartphone, similar to the Samsung Galaxy Fold. With a 6.2inch internal display and a 2.7inch ‘quick view’ outside panel, the Razr will, unsurprisingly, retail for $1499 USD. That’s approximately $2200 here in Australia.

As expected, people were flooded with memories and took to Twitter to express their excitement for the phone slamming possibilities.

But most people were fixated on the idea that 2020s is, excitedly, starting to look exactly like the 2000s again.

I don’t know about you but I’m looking forward to reliving the 2000s, where my biggest struggle was picking out my outfit the night before mufti day.
