For those watching MasterChef Australia, watching Sarah char up some duck oesophagus earlier this week was a pretty bonkers moment.

But a contestant from MasterChef Spain has managed to one-up every contestant that has come before her by serving a whole-ass unplucked, uncooked partridge to the judges.

Yep, 27-year-old social worker and trans woman Saray Carrillo presented the whole bird, garnished with a couple of cherry tomatoes on a bed of spring onions, after being uncomfortable with having to even pluck the bird to begin with.

Despite previously sharing with the judges that she hates cooking with birds, the elimination’s mystery box cook-off forced Saray to face her fears.

While Australians complain about Laura cooking too much pasta or Poh perhaps getting more airtime than necessary, Saray’s dead bird truly is a first for the competition.

And, understandably, the bold fuck you to the judges — who she felt had been unjustly harsh while critiquing her previous dishes which landed her in the elimination — resulted in her getting instantly booted off the show.

After presenting her “dish” to Jordi Cruz, Samantha Vallejo-Nágera and Pepe Rodríguez, Jordi wiped the dead bird off and placed it to the side while giving Saray a lecture about what she had just done.

Jordi claimed that the dish was an insult to the 28,000 other people who had auditioned for the show and said that letting Saray on the show was a mistake. However, an entirely unbothered Saray just smirked and swayed side to side while she received the critique.

Asking her to take off her apron and leave, Saray walked out of the kitchen doors an icon while her fellow contestants just stood in shock.

Honestly, the only person who’s had this much balls in a MasterChef Australia kitchen was Matt Preston when he slammed Aaron’s “disgustingly good” pasta to the ground — and even then, it’s still no dead, raw bird with a couple of cherry tomatoes, now is it?
