The Best Signs From Melbourne’s Latest Marriage Equality March
#LoveIsLove
Melbourne has again been painted with all the colours of the rainbow, as thousands of people travelled into the city on Sunday afternoon to show their support for marriage equality.
The second major Yes rally in the city in as many months, the afternoon began outside the State Library, where the crowd was addressed by organisers as well as by politicians including Greens leader Richard Di Natale and opposition leader Bill Shorten.
Campaigners walked down Swanston Street wielding six 100m long pierces of coloured fabric, creating what Equal Love convenor Ali Hogg told the AAP would be “Australia’s largest ever rainbow”.

Of course it wouldn’t be a marriage equality rally without the amazing signs – and as always, the people of Melbourne well and truly delivered.
