Mark Zuckerberg Doesn’t Know How To Wear Sunscreen, And Us Non-Billionaires Have Made Memes

Is he cosplaying as the Joker? Mrs. Doubtfire? No Face?

Perenially bizarre billionaire Mark Zuckerberg has debuted a new Joker-esque look while on his remote-controlled surfboard off the coast of Hawaiian island Kauai, where he’s been buying up land and colonising the island, despite protests from native peoples.

Zuckerberg, as captured by the NY Post, was seen surfboarding over the weekend with a boat in tow — and it’s one photo of his over-sunscreen’d face (and unfortunately perky butt) which has captured Twitter’s attention.

It enters the pantheon of bizarre moments from the definitely human billionaire, alongside his haircut and that time he grilled meats from his backyard. Of course, it has been relentlessly meme’d.

There’s a lot to point towards here: the clown-like application of sunscreen, yes, but also the PlayStation-looking controller in his hand, the stance, the Target-esque clothes and baffling choice to surf in a hoodie?

Was he cosplaying as Michael Myers, Mrs. Doubtfire, the Joker, or is this really his best attempt at seeming like a normal dude?

And then there’s the ass, which of course is what upset most people.

Zuckerberg has been in a dispute with the native peoples of Kauai since 2016, as the billionaire filed seven lawsuits in a vie for land around his 700-acre property.

In a Change.org petition with 800,000+ signatories, he has been accused of colonising the island and pushing off its native people, who are now either forced to out-bid the billionaire for their land, cede it completely, or face a costly legal battle.

“He’s building a mansion to what? Live in Kauai for two months out of the year?,” the petition reads.

“This is inhuman. It is sick. He needs to be stopped. He could literally build a house anywhere else. There are plenty of open spaces no one has claimed. Yet he has to pick a place where people are trying to make a living and support their families? It’s disgusting.”

By this photo alone, clearly he’s not built to live there. Find some more reactions below.
