Turns Out Mark Ruffalo 100% Spoiled ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Last Year And No One Noticed
You can see his face just drop when he realised.
When a huge blockbuster like Avengers: Infinity War comes out, the film’s stars have to do weeks and weeks of promotion and touring to sell the film — And there’s one golden rule: don’t give away the ending.
But in some newly re-surfaced video, it turns out Mark Ruffalo screwed up and gave away the entire ending to the film… almost a year ago… and no one noticed.
Watch this video very, very closely. The moment of truth comes at 2.15:
Both Ruffalo and Don Cheadle (War Machine) were being interviewed by an American breakfast show about Thor: Ragnarok, which had yet to come out, when the conversation turned to Infinity War, and Ruffalo said this:
(And before you read any further, this will, obviously, be a big spoiler.)
“Wait ’til you see this next one, ha– everybody dies.”
It sounds and awful lot like he was about to say “half”, which makes more sense given the shock ending of Infinity War.
The two actors both quickly realise their mistake.
“Dude!” Cheadle says.
“Can we rewind that part?” Ruffalo responds. “Am I in trouble?”
“A little.”
It’s actually hilarious how many people just passed it off as a joking red herring when the interview was published.
because it's a joke. If they were serious one of the reps from Marvel would've stepped in and ended the interview.

Wow. None of the tweets calling this fake aged well.

I don’t know what’s more shocking: Ruffalo’s slip up, or the fact that in this fan theory-hungry age, no one picked up on the mistake.
Ruffalo has a history of accidentally spoiling Marvel movies, too.
Back in October last year, Ruffalo streamed some audio from the Thor: Ragnarok premiere after forgetting to turn off his Instagram livestream once the movie had started.
Thousands were able to hear a sneak peek of the movie before Ruffalo turned the livestream off.
At least he didn’t spoil the most important part of the new movie, yes, that part with the deep fried kebab.
