Whether you love it or hate it or sort of flit back and forth between the two, it’s hard to believe that Girls has been on the air for five whole seasons. Tbh I think my favourite thing about the show has been watching these characters really grow and mature as people, y’know?

HBO previously announced that season six would be the show’s last, leaving Hannah Horvath and company only a handful of episodes to really leave their “mark” on New York City. Now the cable network has dropped a teaser for the upcoming season, and while it doesn’t look like anybody in the series is any less awful, at least Hannah is learning to surf? That’s progress, right?
