Ride on the magic school bus! Those words resonated with us millennials long after the last episode of classic animated kids series The Magic School Bus aired in 1997.

Now we can hear them again, this time sung by Broadway superstar/genius/all-round adorable man Lin-Manuel Miranda in the trailer for Netflix’s revival The Magic School Bus Rides Again.

But wait… there’s more! Not only does the trailer feature the voice of Grace and Frankie’s Lily Tomlin, who is reprising her role as the original Ms Frizzle; it also stars Glorious Supernova Kate McKinnon as the NEW Ms Frizzle, aka O.G. Ms Frizzle’s little sister, who is also a kooky teacher at the Magic School Bus school. (Sidenote: what is the school even called? idk)

Now the kids are off on a series of brand-new adventures . in which their Magic School Bus will take them everywhere from the deep expanse of space to deep inside a pie! (I want to watch the pie episode tbh).

I can’t think of anything I’d want to watch more than a brand-new episode of The Magic School Bus with Kate McKinnon’s amazing voice as quirky Ms Frizzle. I love this. I’m here for this. You’re here for this.

But, to be honest, not everyone is here for Netflix’s choice to update the animation from the original.

I mean, let’s be real for a sec: change is scary. But still, I think it’s all going to be ok. How can it not be? Just look at that gorgeous, technicolour trailer. It’s full of heart. The trend of tapping back into 1990s nostalgia may be a little tiring at times, but we can’t complain about new Magic School Bus. It is just… magic!

I just hope they include an episode inside a body again — I think we all know that was the best one. (And the computer game was even better!)

The Magic School Bus Rides Again will premiere on Netflix on 22 September 2017.
