Lunch Club! Meet Kayak, The Skateboarding Hedgehog

In America, the popularity of pet hedgehogs is growing dramatically, half thanks to Schming, and half thanks to Darcy.

But although they’ve become more common in households across the States, there’s a surprising lack of information about their proper care. This is where the Hedgehog Welfare Society comes in, a non-profit organisation dedicated to “protecting the well-being of pet hedgehogs through rescue, research and education.”

Here’s Kayak, for instance: an adorable baby hedgehog taken in by HWS, who nursed him back to health, put a cape on him, and gave him a skateboard.
