This Legend Made A Lo-Fi Chill Beats Mix Featuring Dan Andrews Press Conferences
'Lo-fi ISO beats with Dandrews so we can get on the beers later' is here to soothe your soul.
Victoria is having a pretty grim time right now. Following the relentless surge in coronavirus cases over the last month, the state has now entered the strictest lockdown of the pandemic so far. Melbourne has been slapped with a curfew, all non-essential businesses will shutter, and people will only be allowed out of their houses to use essential services or exercise.
It’s a tense state of affairs, and people are coping in whatever ways they can, from making memes to screaming at the world from their backyards. Now, a YouTube user by the name of Memeiva has uploaded a lo-fi chill beats mix — in the vein of the beloved ‘lofi hip hop radio — beats to study/relax to’ — featuring the dulcet tones of Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews.
As reported by Stoney Roads, the mix — titled ‘Lofi ISO beats with dandrews so we can get on the beers later’ — was uploaded yesterday, and runs to nearly eight hours long — perfect for those long, lockdown nights.
“This isn’t supposed to be a mockery or degrading in any way,” Memeiva writes in the video description. “This was mostly made for archival purposes and as an alternative way to get the latest update (as of 2nd August). These are the streamed briefings about the pandemic from 24 July to 2nd August (state of disaster announcement) in order.”
Politics and chill beats, together at last. Listen to the mix below.
