Lil Wayne Got Dumped By His Girlfriend After He Endorsed Donald Trump
Well, well, well - if it isn't the consequences of Lil Wayne's own actions.
Well well well, if it isn’t the consequences of Lil Wayne’s own actions: the rapper has reportedly been dumped by his girlfriend after publicly endorsing Donald Trump for the US presidential election.
Last week, the rapper posted a photo of himself with Trump, saying the two had a ‘great chat’ about prison reform and something called a ‘platnium plan’, effectively endorsing him. He joined the likes of Lil Pump (or is that Little Pimp?), 50 Cent and Ice Cube in the exclusive club of ‘rappers who endorse Donald Trump’ — a collective that John Legend joked at a Biden campaign rally were in the sunken place, referencing Get Out.
As per Vulture, Wayne’s girlfriend, model Denise Bidot, split from the rapper last week, with a close source confirming the news to gossip site Love B. Scott, saying that while the endorsement wasn’t the only reason, it was the last push she needed.
“She broke up with Wayne. It wasn’t just his Trump support, but that was a big part.,” the source said. “[Denise] was shocked when she saw Wayne come out with Trump. She’s so disappointed in him.”
While gossip sites aren’t the most verifiable sources, the two have unfollowed each other on Instagram, which really is 2020’s much more concise version of a ‘consciously uncoupled’ essay.
And as The Shade Room points out, Bidot has posted a few ‘cryptic’ stories, including one where she simply wrote “sometimes love isn’t enough” alongside a broken heart.
