It’s been two days since the election was announced, and the coverage is already cringeworthy to watch.

Check out yesterday’s video of the Liberal Candidate for Greenway, Jaymes Diaz, crumbling under the pressure of a Channel Ten doorstop interview (the destructive force of which is often likened to a light breeze on a spring day).

Particular highlights to look out for include a man physically clinging to a policy book he may not have read as though it’s a life raft, and the complete detailing of the Liberal Party’s six-point plan to stop the boats, which reads as follows:

1) Stop the boats, where it is safe to do so.

2-6) We have a plan to stop the boats.

Also keep your eye on Unimpressed Elderly Gentleman who appears over the candidate’s shoulder around 4:08, determined to hear more about the Carbon Tax and boat stopping. This is all shortly followed by an announcement that the interview has run overtime, before the candidate is rushed away.

Soak this video up, you guys. It’s day two  of a long month, and it’s stuff like this that’ll see us through to the other side.
