Every couple of years, the internet finds itself relitigating Leonardo DiCaprio’s death at the end of Titanic. Kate Winslet and Mythbusters both reckon there was enough room for him on that door, although director James Cameron isn’t so sure. But what does the dead man himself think?

With the press tour for Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time In Hollywood in full swing, MTV had the chance to ask DiCaprio just that. And while the actor was very diplomatic about it, the same couldn’t be said for his Once Upon a Time costars Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie.

“I remember bawling my eyes out,” exclaims Robbie in response to the question.

“I’m going to go back and look now,” says Pitt, before turning to DiCaprio and asking whether he could have “squeezed on there”.

“You could have, couldn’t you?” he laughs.

“No comment,” DiCaprio says.

“Did you mention it at the time?” Robbie asks. “Were you like ‘should we make the door smaller?'”

“Like I said,” DiCaprio replies with a smile, “I have no comment.”
