Now we know who to blame for that beard.
The intense teaser trailer for Leonardo Dicaprio’s The Revenant dropped overnight. The film is about a 18th century fur trapper who roams the wild American frontiers and, apparently, gets into a lot of fights.
It also features Tom Hardy and a bear.
If the drums and on-beat heavy breathing didn’t give it away, the movie is directed by Birdman‘s Alejandro G. Iñárritu.
So we finally know why Leonardo DiCaprio grew that beard. The real question is why did he keep it after the film was done.
The Revenant is in Australian cinemas in January.
