Lady Gaga Just Ripped Into Donald Trump And Mike Pence During Her Las Vegas Show
"You say we should not discriminate against Christianity. You are the worst representation of what it means to be a Christian."
Lady Gaga has torn President Donald Trump and his chief lackey Mike Pence to shreds during a fiery outburst at her concert in Las Vegas over the weekend.
The Grammy-winner stopped midway through her song ‘Million Reasons’ to share her thoughts on the US Government shutdown, which has been in effect since December 22 and has left more than 800,000 federal employees without pay.
“[Could] the fucking president of the United States please put our government back in business?” she asked, generating massive cheers from the audience. “There are people who live paycheck to paycheck and need their money.”
She then hit out at Vice President Pence, who recently accused the media of “attacking Christian education” after his wife Karen Pence came under fire for taking a job at a school that does not permit LGBTIQ students or employees.
“You say we should not discriminate against Christianity,” said Lady Gaga. “You are the worst representation of what it means to be a Christian.”
“I am a Christian woman, and what I do know about Christianity is that we bear no prejudice and everybody is welcome. So you can take all that disgrace Mr. Pence and you can look yourself in the mirror and you’ll find it right there.”
