Kota Banks Is One Of Australia’s Best New Pop Acts
Your new favourite act has arrived.
You should probably store the name Kota Banks in your brain right now, because you’re going to be saying it a lot in the future.
The Sydney artist has been getting some serious hype lately thanks to huge early singles ‘Empty Streets’ and ‘N.F.F.A’, which have collectively chalked up over 17 millions spins on Spotify. Today sees her drop her latest single ‘Holiday’ and yep, it’s another banger.
‘Holiday’ is her first release through NLV Records (the brainchild of beloved local selector Nina Las Vegas) which she signed to earlier this year, joining the likes of Swick, Lewis Cancut, and UNIIQU3.
Swick helped out with production on ‘Holiday’, and they’ve also been working together on her upcoming debut EP — which will also feature the magic of ‘Pizza Guy’ producer Touch Sensitive.
