Kit Harington And Rose Leslie Are Engaged, ‘GoT’ Can Have Happy Endings After All!
"Kit Harington finally bends the knee."
Hey remember when we could be thirsty as hell over Jon Snow’s romances without wilfully overlooking incest! In a throwback to simpler times, it’s been confirmed to People that Game of Thrones’ Kit Harington and Rose Leslie are engaged. IRL! It’s happening! Jon Snow and Ygritte live.

Harington and Leslie are undoubtedly the Good News Story to come out of the Game of Thrones universe. Though the actors knew each other beforehand, they first hooked up after shooting their characters’ season two love arc. They kept things quiet and denied reports the pair were dating until 2016 when they started making out on red carpets and Harington came out with the whole story.
“[My best experience was] the three weeks in Iceland when we were shooting the second season,” he said. “Because the country is beautiful, because the Northern Lights are magical, and because it was there that I fell in love. If you’re already attracted to someone, and then they play your love interest in the show, it’s becomes very easy to fall in love…”
Here’s another video of them being great together because at this point I just do not need a reason:
The couple hasn’t yet made an announcement of an engagement or responded publicly to the reports. Fingers crossed this isn’t a huge power play by Nicole Kidman. It’s been just a few months since Kidman put very strange public pressure for Harington to propose to Leslie.
“If you’re going to live together, I think at least get engaged,” she said, grinning.
Um, okay Nicole. I don’t know if that is always the best strategy but your intentions are very nice all the same.
