Ke$ha Drank Her Own Pee On Last Night’s Episode Of ‘My Crazy Beautiful Life’

Usually, star-driven, “behind-the-scenes” programs are obnoxiously tedious vanity projects, some celebrity inventing preposterous storylines about themselves in an attempt to cash-in on their flash-in-the-pan stardom before it all quickly fades away. Ke$ha’s revealing MTV show My Crazy Beautiful Life, on the other hand, has surprisingly become essential viewing since launching last month. Shot by her journo brother Lagan, the show re-casts the often unfairly-maligned star as a fun, easy-going, unapologetically sex-and-beard-obsessed performer, making the most out of life in the nutso world of pop stardom.

Much like that time she put her awesome mum in a penis costume, or the time she stalked her ex-boyfriend Harold, or the time she hilariously mocked her “tour boyfriend” for requesting to be the “little spoon”, or the time she casually wandered out of her tour bus screaming “I got LAID!”, last night’s episode featured another must-see moment.

Inspired by her friend Savannah’s anecdote about a family acquaintance who regularly drinks her own urine, Ke$ha decided to give it a go in the back of her tour van. Understandably, the Parents Television Council in the States didn’t approve, criticising the episode’s “disgusting, vile content”. In her defence, Ke$ha said: “I heard it was good for you. I’m also just one that doesn’t shy away from things. I’m not good at saying ‘no’ so I just figure, f— it, I’ll try anything once. So I tried it. I wouldn’t recommend it. It was pretty gross.”

Whichever side you sit on the matter, one thing’s for sure: judging by the crystal-clear hue of her bodily fluids, Ke$ha seems surprisingly well-hydrated.
