Kanye West is a rapper. Elon Musk is a technocrat. Both are annoying, extremely entitled rich people.

Indeed, despite their differences, they share more in common than most. Each of them considers themselves to be a gamechanging renegade, forever altering the course of human history. Each of them Tweets too much. Each of them needs to immediately redistribute their vast and improperly amassed wealth.

So yeah, that a snap between the two would be taken was simply a matter of time — an eventuality, rather than a mere possibility.

I’m just not sure why the final product had to look so bloody awkward.

It was Kanye who posted the photo of the pair on his Twitter account, accompanied with the pithy caption, “When you go to your boys house and you’re both wearing orange.”

Personally, I have a lot of questions. Such as: what the fuck is going on with Elon’s pose? Why is he standing like that? Why do they both look so uncomfortable? Why is Elon’s house so fucken’ ugly?

Anyway, as was to be expected, the photo of the pair was quickly turned into a meme, with pranksters filling Kanye’s mentions with doctored versions of the photo.

In fact, Kanye even got in on the fun himself, posting a photo of the pair with swapped heads.

Eagle-eyed users on Twitter also spotted Grimes inbetween the pair, captured in a reflection, holding the camera. So pretty soon, that became a whole thing too.

Anyway, see you next time either one of these irritating billionaires utterly embarrasses themselves. Which will probably be pretty soon.
