Former Sex Pistols frontman Johnny Rotten, aka John Lyndon, has revealed that he was recently bit on his penis by a flea, after inviting some squirrels into his Los Angeles home.

As first picked up by the NZ Herald, Rotten offers up the information in his new book, I Could Be Wrong, I Could Be Right, described as a collection of “random thoughts about the way John sees life, along with anecdotes from his unique and extraordinary career.”  One of those anecdotes involves the 64-year-old’s recent flea bite on his dick.

Rotten explains that he has opened his doors to the wildlife around his home in Venice Beach, saying he has spent ‘a lot of money’ to feed squirrels, only for them to give him fleas. But he doesn’t ‘blame them’, and has no plans to close his doors.

“I looked down there this morning at my willy and there’s a fucking flea bite on it. And there’s another one on the inside of my leg. The bites, wow, last night was murder because of it. The itching too. It’s such a poxy thing to get caught out on. The only way around it, because I’m not going to blame the poor little squirrels, is to Vaseline my legs,” he wrote.

“I just hope they don’t get the wrong idea.”

He doesn’t want to domesticate the squirrels, either.

“I’m determined to keep my squirrel friends independent, y’know. There’s no petting. If they want to nudge up that’s fine, but I know it’s for a peanut and not because I’m lovely,” he wrote.

There you have it. If you were wondering what the lead singer of one of the 20th century’s most influential bands was up to in 2020 beyond voting for Donald Trump, there you have it. If you’d like to read more of his thoughts, you can buy his book from his site.
