Joe Rogan Told His 200 Million Listeners Straight White Men Are Being Silenced
Joe Rogan thinks "woke culture" is silencing straight white men? Please don't threaten us with a good time.
Joe Rogan, every straight white man’s favourite podcast host, has finally spoken out in support of the people who really need it most: The oppressed straight white men of the world. Finally! Some justice!
Yes, you read that right. Joe Rogan is standing up for the straight white men of the world by attacking “woke culture” and where it is headed.
During one of his latest The Joe Rogan Experience podcast episodes, Rogan shared his gripes with “woke culture” and explained that it was basically leading to the silencing of straight white men.
“You can never be woke enough. That’s the problem, it keeps going,” Rogan said while chatting to comedian Joe List.
“It keeps going further and further down the line and if you get to the point where you capitulate, where you agree to all these demands, it’ll eventually get to straight white men are not allowed to talk, because it’s your privilege to express yourself when other people of color have been silenced throughout history,” he continued.
“It will be, you’re not allowed to go outside. Because so many people were imprisoned for so many years — I’m not joking, it really will get there. It’s that crazy.”

Let’s dissect this for a second: Joe Rogan, a straight white man, spoke about men getting silenced during a podcast episode that ran for an uninterrupted 170 minutes.
Joe Rogan spoke about white men being silenced on The Joe Rogan Experience, a podcast that gets around 11 million listeners an episode. A podcast that Forbes estimates brings in a combined 200 million listeners and viewers every month. A podcast that Rogan literally made $100 million from by giving exclusive streaming rights to Spotify — one of the world’s biggest streaming platforms — last year.
Mind you, this $100 million deal did not give Spotify any say over what Rogan is and is not allowed to discuss.
Now I can’t be certain, but none of this really sounds like men being silenced to me — and the internet agrees.

Can Joe Rogan point to one day in American history where straight white men shut the fuck up?
If you start the clock in 1787 they've had roughly 85,500 opportunities to give it a rest for A DAY, and have never ONCE let the goddamn Earth spin without offering an opinion. https://t.co/ZsIwzZnmCT

Joe Rogan says that if the Woke Mob wins, straight white men won't be allowed to talk.
Straight white men – victims since… [checks every history book] absolutely never.

It’s just so rich for Rogan of all people to cry about the possibility of straight white men being silenced. And it’s even richer that the millionaire podcaster is campaigning to make sure the people with the loudest voices have their voices heard.
At the end of the day, Joe Rogan, like many straight white men, will never be silenced or be at risk of losing their following. Sadly, even when he boosts the far-right through interviews and spouts out messages in support of anti-vaccination, his followers always eat The Joe Rogan Experience up.
But really all we need is for Rogan to pivot back to the only job society needs him to do: Hosting Fear Factor. Please.
I met a man who told me he doesn’t know anything about Joe Rogan beyond fear factor. I’ve never been more aroused.
