Hold onto your puffy shirt, because Jerry Seinfeld is headed to Australia. The legendary comedian has confirmed that he’ll embark on a tour of our fair nation in August next year, with sets in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth.

The tour will mark be the first time Seinfeld has performed comedy in Australia since 1998, when he fled here to escape the media in the wake of the series finale of his popular sitcom. Perhaps you’ve heard it?
“Australia may be far in miles but I feel very close to the people because of our mutual comedy connection,” Seinfeld said via the tour’s promoter. “I couldn’t be more excited about seeing everyone there again.”
