Jennifer Lawrence Interviewed Kim Kardashian, Was A Giant Nerd About It
Turns out she's a massive Kardashian fan.
Jennifer Lawrence lasted less than a minute before revealing the extent of her obsession with Kim Kardashian, during a delightful interview with the reality star as part of Lawrence’s guest-hosting stint on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
“Do you think it’s a coincidence that Reggie Bush’s wife looks just like you?” Lawrence blurted out about five seconds after Kardashian sat down. “I don’t.”
Turns out Lawrence has been a fan of the Kardashian’s for a very long time. In fact, the first time she met Kim, she was screaming “I love your show” across the lobby of a hotel. Y’know, normal, rational behaviour.
Since then, Lawrence has become a friend of the family, to the point that she recently had a wonderfully drunken dinner with Kardashian’s mum, Kris Jenner.
“I’ve never seen my mum more drunk”, said Kardashian of the evening in question, with the slightest hint of disapproval in her voice.
“I was way more drunk than your mum”, Lawrence countered. “I remember getting naked in your mum’s closet and ordering that you dress me.”
Regardless of how you feel about the Kardashians in general, you have to respect Jennifer Lawrence for basically doing a nudie run through their mansion and then ordering Kim and Kanye to style her.
The beauty of this interview is that, as a long-term fan, Lawrence knows all the best questions to ask, and does so with her trademark bluntness. She isn’t afraid to ask the weird stuff, and Kardashian is more than game. Which is why, for example, we get to find out why the reality star didn’t realise her makeup brushes kind of look like dildos.
Still, my favourite part is when Jennifer basically asks Kim which of her children she would kill. Never heard Kimmel say that before.
