Praise the lord: Jennifer Coolidge has made another acceptance speech at another awards show, and as you can imagine we’ve inhaled it all in full.

You don’t hear a lot about the SAG Awards. Not one soul has ever suggested a SAG Awards watch party. What even is a SAG Award? Please, enough with the questions. The only thing that does matter is that Jennifer Coolidge just bagged one, and did the thing she does best: deliver a meandering acceptance speech that ends with a bang and a hearty round of applause.

Taking to the stage with absolutely no qualms about clearly being down one acrylic nail(!?) Coolidge opened her acceptance speech by swiftly launching into some sort of breathless pre-cry reminiscent of that time Halle Berry won a Razzie for her performance as Catwoman in 2005.

She went on to thank her “amazing parents” for pulling her out of class in first grade to see Charlie Chaplin at a film festival, setting her up to love cinema for life, and guys, there was no punchline — she was just talking about being into acting. “I swear to God, seeing Charlie Chaplin for the first time and having that experience … as my love of film, as my love of actors, all of that came from my first grade.”

Coolidge won the SAG Award for her portrayal of Tanya McQuoid in Season 2 of The White Lotus, which (spoiler alert) ended with her shooting up some bad guys before ungracefully falling off a boat. At this point it’s becoming increasingly unclear if Coolidge actually speaks like this in real life or if she’s having us all on, but honestly I’ll take it either way.
