This morning Fisher told The Today Show in the US that she was so used to people getting her confused with her Nocturnal Animals co-star, Amy Adams, that she and her husband, Sacha Baron Cohen, decided to play a prank on their loved ones. On their annual photo Christmas card, Fisher just put Amy Adams’ face over her face, just to see if anyone noticed.
“I cut-and-pasted Amy Adams’ face over mine, so it was Sacha, Amy, and the kids, and then we said Seasons greetings from Sacha and Isla,” she said. “And no one noticed. Everyone was like, ‘Oh, your card was so cute’. I was like, it was a joke, it’s not me, it’s Amy!”
In the same segment, Fisher may have also accidentally revealed that there’s going to be Wedding Crashers 2. “I just bumped into Vince Vaughn at a party and he said that apparently we’re going to be making a sequel,” she said. “So I’m really excited to see what happened to Gloria.” Cool, okay!
