Is it just a ruse to get really talented and famous people in bed? Good question, no comment.

In case you’ve missed it, we’ve recently debuted In Bed With Carissa — a new web series where Carissa Walford bunkers down with some familiar faces from Australian comedy, music, film, fashion and activism.

Carissa comes to the series after five years at Channel V where she interviewed the likes of Pharell Williams, Channing Tatum, Cara Delevingne and Kim Kardashian. Is this whole thing a clever ruse to get those amazingly famous and talented people in bed with her? Valid question, no comment.

The series will have 11 episodes all-up with teaser clips premiering on the Junkee Facebook page each Sunday night and full episodes hitting the website shortly after. Here, Carissa chats with ARIA Award-winner Samantha Jade about her pop career in LA (she wrote tracks for JoJo; a very big deal for anyone as invested in 2004 tween pop as us). She’ll also meet celebrity make-up artist Max May, comedians Sketch She, skin cancer charity founder Jimmy Niggles, and chef Sam Smith among others.

In the first episode, Carissa sits down with Samantha Jade:
