House of the Dragon is returning for its highly anticipated second season on June 17. That’s the good news.

The bad news is that Season 1 ended all the way back in October of 2022. Since then, I have forgotten everything that happened on the show and everyone it happened to. I barely remember the name of the show. I put it in the headline and I’m still not totally confident I could tell you what it is.

I’ve even forgotten a lot of stuff not related to the show. Like how to change a tyre. I’m not sure I ever truly knew how to do that, but I certainly don’t know how to do it now.

But the show is about to come back, so it’s a good time for a refresher on everything you need to remember before you watch the first episode of Season 2.

House Of The Dragon Is About The Targaryen Family

And some members are fighting with others. Who is on either side of these quarrels? That has never been established. Hopefully, the new season will shed some light on this.

The Targaryens Are Primarily Blonde, Hair-Wise

Imagine settling in to watch the show and forgetting this. You would lose your mind.

House Of The Dragon Is A Prequel To A Show Called The Game Of Thrones

For some of you, this might be a bit basic, but you’d be surprised how many people simply don’t remember what either of these shows are and why they exist.

This Is Totally Different To The How To Train Your Dragon Franchise

So many people make this mistake.

Dragons Are Widely Considered To Be Not Real

Super important to remember: Dragons can’t get you. They don’t really exist. And if they did, what makes you think they’d be interested in getting you? What makes you so special?

The Game Of Thrones Was A Really Popular Show, But So Was Sex And The City

People have different tastes. It’s easy to forget that.

Somehow, MasterChef Is Still On TV

I know. That’s the last thing you expected to need to remember before you watch the new season of House of the Dragon. Yet here we are.

A Lot Of These House Of The Dragon Characters Are Addicted To Power

I don’t know which ones exactly, but I know that it’s not healthy to be this addicted to power. Related: Some of these people are very manipulative.

House of the Dragon is a fun show, but you know what else is fun? Securing your financial future.

If You’re Using A Fan-Forced Oven, You Want To Reduce That Heat

Things cook faster when the oven’s fan-forced. Please remember that before you watch the new season of House of the Dragon.

Peter Dinklage Is Not In House Of The Dragon

This can come as a shock to many people who assume Peter Dinklage is in everything.

A Lot Of The Names Of These House Of The Dragon People Feature An “Ae”

I just looked up some of the names to see if I’d remember who any of them were. I didn’t. But I did notice this very interesting trend. Rhaenyra, Jacaerys, Aemond, Daemon, Aegon… But there’s also someone named Otto. That’s just the level of creativity we’re dealing with here.

Who are these characters? What is their role in the story? That’s anyone’s guess.

EOFY Sales Sometimes Aren’t That Big A Deal

Is 10 percent worth it? I don’t think so. But it’s easy to forget. That’s why you need to remember it before you watch House of the Dragon.

If You Install iOS 18 Beta On Your iPhone, You Might Deal With Some Bugs

I think it’s great that you’re so adventurous and want to be one of the first people to try out the new iOS with all the AI improvements, but it’s important to remember just what you’ll be getting yourself into. Once you remember that, it’s okay to go ahead and watch Season 2 of House of the Dragon.

The Game Of Thrones Series Ending Was Not Satisfying

I know, you’ve forgotten all about how they built all that stuff up for 10 years and then totally flamed out with… well, I don’t remember exactly. But I remember that it felt underwhelming.

Now May Be The Perfect Time To Get That Air Fryer

You’ve held off long enough.
