Claire Underwood Takes Centre Stage In Ominous New ‘House Of Cards’ Promo
No Spacey in sight.
Netflix has unveiled an Independence Day promo for the sixth and final season of House of Cards. And while it doesn’t directly address Kevin Spacey’s absence, we know how to read between the lines.
The brief teaser features Robin Wright as President Claire Underwood sitting atop the Lincoln Memorial. “Happy Independence Day… to me,” she says.
The promo ends with the familiar theme music along with the hashtag #MyTurn, echoing Claire’s final words at the end of season five.

Wright will lead the show solo this season, with Spacey having exited the series after being accused of multiple instances of sexual misconduct.
House of Cards season six will hit Netflix later this year.
