Hilary Duff Called The Delta Variant A “Little Bitch” After Testing Positive For COVID-19
She speaks the truth.
Hilary Duff has loudly proclaimed that the Delta Variant is a “little bitch”, after sharing that she tested positive for COVID-19 over the weekend.
On Friday, Hilary Duff announced that she has tested positive for the Delta variant of coronavirus via her Instagram stories. “That delta … she’s a little bitch,” wrote Duff. “Symptoms: bad headache. No taste or smell. Sinus pressure. Brain fog. Happy to be vaxxed.”

Duff had posted earlier in the week that production had started for How I Met Your Father, a spin-off/sequel to How I Met Your Mother. According to Deadline, Duff’s role in the series is as protagonist Sophie, who is telling her son the story of how she met his father, much like Josh Radnor’s Ted Mosby did in the original series.
Snatching up a producer credit, it’s the first series Duff has worked on since concluding her time on Younger. It also might help fill the hole in our souls left by Duff’s snuffed reboot of the beloved, Lizzie Mcguire.
Production on How I Met Your Father has paused while Duff is down with the Delta, however. The actor posted an update for fans on her Instagram story last night — “update! I can taste these!” — captioned over a picture of almond butter filled pretzel nuggets from Trader Joes. Good for her.
Unsurprisingly, COVID-19 has never been one for giving celebrities special treatment. In fact, Hilary Duff joins an ever growing list of celebrities who have contracted the virus. The list includes Grimes, tennis champ Coco Gauff, Liv Tyler and many others.

Truly, truer words have never been spoken — Delta is a little bitch. It is a comfort to know that, as she did in tiny cartoon form on Lizzie Mcguire all those years ago, Hilary Duff is still out here saying what we’re all thinking.
