Here’s A Teaser For The 3D Peanuts Movie That Nobody Ever Asked For

Hey, you know what’s a weird idea? Taking an iconic pen-and-paper comic strip, and a beloved cartoon, and re-doing the whole thing with the kinda ugly 3D glaze that puts a shiny, soulless stare into the eyes of our most beloved fictional characters.

And yet, here it is:

At least they kept Vince Guaraldi’s excellent piano tune. Peanuts 3D, which isn’t due out till 2015, marks the first time that Charles M. Schultz’s parent-less gang have been given the big-screen treatment. It also marks the first time that Charlie Brown’s hairdo has been re-imagined as an old man’s final pubic strand. Hooray for firsts, I guess?
