“Best Of Luck To You And Your Fedoras!”: Iggy Azalea & Guy Sebastian Are In 2019’s Weirdest Feud

In 2016, Guy Sebastian and Iggy Azalea were co-hosts on X-Factor. Maybe you don’t remember that, which is fair enough, because by that stage X-Factor was so dull that I’m surprised even Sebastian or Azalea remember that they were on the show.

But they do, apparently, because this morning the pair have re-ignited a very old, and very deeply confusing feud.

See, there was visible tension between the pair of co-hosts back in 2016. It never quite spilled out into the press, but it was clear that the two were having about as much fun being attached to X-Factor as you might be if you were shackled to the steering wheel of a car rolling slowly over the edge of a cliff.

Well, now Sebastian has aired his specific grievances on the Kyle And Jackie O Show, and he went in.

“I never liked Iggy,” Sebastian told Kyle Sandilands. “She was awful to me. Like I had stuff on with my kids, she made us all wait for like three hours of something and then rocks up and has attitude. Like if I’m making everyone wait, which happens ‘cause you know, I’m not the best with time … at least [I] charm it on a bit.”

Now, in response, Azalea herself has taken to Twitter to clarify the situation. According to her, there’s no way that she could “be late” given that X-Factor was filmed live.

“How can you be late for a show that was filmed on LIVE television firstly… I’d love to know guy [sic],” Azalea wrote, before pointing to previous interviews where Sebastian claimed to love the Australian popstar. Read full the full thread below.
