Check Out The Haunting First Trailer For Pulitzer Adaptation ‘The Goldfinch’
The Oscar race has officially begun.
The Oscars mightn’t be for another nine months, but we’ve officially gotten a look at one of the major contenders, with the intense and haunting first trailer for The Goldfinch hitting the web overnight.
Adapted from Donna Tartt’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel of the same name, the film is a dark coming-of-age story about a young man who finds himself in possession of a rare and valuable painting after his mother is killed in a terrorist attack at an art gallery. It’s directed by John Crowley (Brooklyn) and stars Ansel Elgort alongside Nicole Kidman, Finn Wolfhard, Sarah Paulson, and Jeffrey Wright.
