SNL’s ‘Game Of Thrones: SVU’ Is The Spinoff We Desperately Need
Ice-T in Westeros? I'd watch it.
With just six episodes left until the end of Game of Thrones, HBO are desperately scrambling to bring viewers more content from the seven kingdoms. They’ve already got one prequel, starring Naomi Watts, in the works, and are reportedly kicking around ideas for four more. But I guarantee none of them will be as good as this pitch from the team at Saturday Night Live.
The sketch, which aired as part of Saturday’s episode (hosted by Jon Snow himself), mashes up George R. R. Martin’s world of fire and ice with other beloved TV shows. Think Cersei and the City, The Marvellous Mrs. Melisandre and my personal favourite, Game of Thrones: SVU, featuring actual SVU stars Mariska Hargitay and Ice-T.
