The French Army Marching Band Performed A Daft Punk Medley But Donald Trump Was Unimpressed
Pretty sure Donald Trump has no idea who Daft Punk are.
The French army has celebrated Bastille Day in the most patriotic way imaginable: with a full blown Daft Punk medley on the Champs Elysees.
The performance was part of this year’s Bastille Day military parade in Paris, and included a number of the EDM duo’s most iconic tracks including ‘Get Lucky’, ‘One More Time’ and ‘Harder Better Faster Stronger’.
Among those in attendance were newly elected French president Emmanuel Macron and his US counterpart Donald Trump. Based on the footage, it’s seems safe to assume that one of them is a much bigger Daft Punk fan than the other.
Footage of the performance has been widely shared on social media, where many people have commented on Trump’s less than enthusiastic reaction.

There are too many delightful things in this clip, including Trump having noooooo idea what’s happening or who Daft Punk is. https://t.co/DJKxjva6ec

Macron forcing Trump to sit through a Daft Punk medley is so fantastically French https://t.co/WS6upP9hH9

Trump wasn’t smiling during the marching band performance in Paris because he thought ‘Daft Punk’ was a low-key insult aimed at him #TYTLive

What if Macron and Trump pulled off their masks and they were Daft Punk the entire time
