It’s the last few weeks of uni and you’ve (almost) made it out alive. You deserve all the alcohol there is in that sticky-floored uni bar of yours.

Cheers to no more assignments, no more exams and no more past-midnight cramming sessions with a Red Bull in hand.

You’re soon to be free at last! So make the most of it.

Don’t rush it

While you might feel like doing a Forrest Gump and sprinting out of the gates, take a moment to look around for the last time and let the fact that you’re graduating sink in.

You’ve spent the past few years having some of the best and worst moments of your life in this place. Give yourself a moment to appreciate how far you’ve come. And notice how small it looks in comparison to your first day at uni back as an eager first-year.

Chase after that nostalgia. You only graduate once.

Have a graduation party or go out with your mates

Don’t even try to downplay the fact you’re graduating – this is a huge achievement! All those tears shed over bad marks, fatigued days and a growing dependency on caffeine are a testament to how much you’ve endured over the past few years.

Due to the upcoming scramble to find employment, you might not see your mates for a while, and if you’re close with a group of international students, chances are they’ll be returning home after uni finishes.

A massive party might not be your idea of fun, but at least make an effort to go out for dinner and celebrate with your friends. That way you’ll truly have no ragretz about your final weeks.

Pick up your uni mag

Grab one of those uni mags that you’ve never bothered picking up and save it as a souvenir. That way you can look back and laugh about what was trending in 2016 when you were a uni student.

You’ll definitely want to be reminded of Harambe and our inexplicable fascination with Netflix and memes.

Down one last drink at the uni bar

When’s the next time that you’ll be able to grab a $4 drink come Happy Hour?

You owe it to your uni bar to say goodbye to those sticky floors where there are plenty of memz from all those uni parties you attended. The uni bar is the epitome of student life. Be sure to pay tribute to all the hours spent squandering study time by playing pool and drinking cheap cider.

Get tons of photos

You might feel ridiculous taking photos before you actually show up in a gown and cap, but you’ll want a few #candid photos of your last few weeks with your uni buddies.

Bring something along for everyone to sign and leave a message so that you have something more sentimental than a wardrobe full of university memorabilia to allow you to reminisce.

Make sure you seize the last few weeks by working up the courage to get the number of that person whose head you’ve totally dug starring at in lecs during your final years.

You won’t have to see them every other day at uni so the time is now, young grasshopper! At least if they say no you’ll never have to lay eyes on them again. That’s romance at its finest.
